Film: 21st Century Literacy is conducting a survey to assess the impact and effect of using film in primary and secondary education and we need your help.

We need to talk to teachers and pupils from primary and secondary classes throughout the UK who have been involved in film-making and/or film watching projects in the last couple of years. We have created three questionnaires; one for teachers, one for primary students and one for secondary students.


The questionnaires should not take no more than 10-15 minutes to complete and can be done in a number of ways:

If you would like us to post you hard copies of the questionnaire please get in touch. Hard copy questionnaires can be returned to: Ruth Brooks, Film 21st Century Literacy, 91 Berwick Street, London W1 OBP.

If you complete the questionnaire, and meet our eligibility criteria, you will automatically be entered into a free prize draw to win an iPad 2 16GB. To be eligible you must be a teacher who has used film in school in a subject other than Film Studies or Media Studies within the last three years, and have completed the questionnaire by Friday 15th July 2011.
