Opinion Survey - Win an iPad 2!
Monday 6th of June 2011
We are currently running a UK wide survey to research the benefits of using film in the classroom.
The research we are undertaking is about film related projects that are conducted during lesson time, but outside of Film or Media Studies lessons. The questionnaire should take no more than 10 minutes and can be accessed
online.
You will automatically be entered into a free prize draw to win an iPad 2 16GB if you meet the eligibility criteria. To be eligible you must be a teacher who has used film in school in a subject other than Film or Media Studies within the last three years, and have completed the questionnaire by Friday 15th July 2011.
More information and links to the questionnaire can be found in the
Evidence section of our website.
We are trying to build up as wide a picture as possible so please feel free to pass this on to other colleagues who have used film in the classroom.
Many thanks in advance.

Give Us Your Guidance and Feedback
Wednesday 16th of June 2010
One of the aims of the Film: 21st Century Literacy strategy was to ensure evidence and research was helping to shape our activities and to help achieve this we've launched the UK's largest survey into the provision of film-based experience for young people. This includes a vast range of activities, from classroom-based learning to after-school film clubs, plus the provision of resources to teach film studies to informal development activities using filmmaking skills.
Our goal is to:
- Build a broad understanding of activities at local, regional and national levels
- Learn how this shared experience can be used to greater benefit
- Advocate for more provision of film-based experiences to help young people
This will only be possible with direct guidance and feedback from people like you, so we would ask you to take ten minutes and complete our short online questionnaire:
